Every now and then, I like to drag your eyeballs away from the daily doom scroll and cultural absurdities… and point them toward things that actually enrich your perspective — not shrink it.
So in this short ROUND UP bulletin, I’m kicking things off with two visual feasts that hit you from opposite ends of the existential telescope.
On one side, you’ve got TIME’s Top 100 Photos of 2025 — a raw, unfiltered parade of the past year’s cultural flashpoints, political standoffs, climate gut-punches, and quiet human moments. It’s history… caught mid-breath.
And on the other side?
We blast straight into the cosmos with BBC Science Focus’s 31 Jaw-Dropping Space Photos — the kind of galactic beauty that reminds you how tiny our earthly dramas really are (and why perspective is the most underpriced asset in the universe).
Both collections are worth opening up in full screen, sitting with for a moment, and letting them recalibrate your sense of scale — from the human to the cosmic, and everything in between.
A hat-tip to Claudia Dawson, at Recomondo, for bringing those to my attention.
Now, onto a few key video links worth watching this weekend:
🎥 Chevy’s Heart-Warmed Christmas Ad (Try Not to Cry) 12:52
Before you roll your eyes at another corporate holiday spot, give this one a look. Chevrolet dropped a pro-family, pro-America Christmas ad that isn’t just another commercial — it’s a quiet reminder of what a lot of us actually miss about this season: simple moments, real people, and a sense of warmth that doesn’t come from a screen. Whether you agree with the vibe or not, it’s a fascinating example of how modern storytelling is being used to tap into cultural identity and emotion — and yeah, it might just sneak up on your heart a bit.
🎥 Inside the Aurum Foundation: AI & Crypto Wealth Building 1:35:15
If you’re tracking where crypto meets AI — and how algorithmic wealth tools are shaping the next decade of finance — this recorded Zoom call with key leaders from Aurum Foundation is worth your time. Aurum is an AI-powered crypto ecosystem that blends automated trading bots, liquidity tools, Web3 banking, and real-world payment products into one platform designed to generate passive cash flow and simplify digital asset management.
Sidenote: As many of my readers already know, for the past several weeks, I’ve been spieling the beans on Texit, the most recent passive-income vehicle Brad and I added to our portfolios. In addition to that amazing U.S.-based mining company, we are also
adding smart, low-maintenance cashflow vehicles — the kind that don’t require us to grind like it’s 1998 again. This recorded presentation was from yesterday’s group call with one of our long-time M4 members and friends, Dr. Terry Tillart.

🎥 A World-Class Mentalist Decodes Human Behavior 13:03
If you’ve ever wondered how some people just seem to read others like open books (and what that means for influence, persuasion, and understanding human nature), this is a fascinating watch. In this clip, mentalist Oz Pearlman — featured on 60 Minutes — demonstrates the uncanny ability to interpret body language, micro-cues, and psychology in a way that looks like “mind reading.” Whether you see it as performance art or insight into how top negotiators and communicators actually operate, it’s an eye-opening reminder that people skills, pattern reading, and attention to detail are real competitive advantages in life and business.
Well, there you go. Several links, curated by yours truly, to tap into this weekend.
