On October 13th, 1947, an ambitious experiment took place inside a B-17 bomber over the Atlantic.
A collaborative team of scientists — from General Electric Corporation, the US Army Signal Corps, the Office of Naval Research, and the US Air Force — set out to weaken a hurricane… that was drifting off the coast of Jacksonville, Florida.
They dropped approximately 80 kilograms (176 pounds) of crushed dry ice into the storm clouds. The team hoped that the dry ice would interact with the hurricane's clouds and disrupt its internal structure, ultimately weakening the storm.
But, that’s not the outcome they got! Instead of weakening it, Dr. Irving Langmuir, head of GE Laboratories, said he was “99% sure” that their seeding caused the storm’s change in direction.
It wasn’t some minor degree in change, either. The hurricane made a sudden 135-degree left turn and began moving westward. Eventually, it made landfall near Savannah, Georgia, totaling approximately $2 million in damage to Georgia and South Carolina.
Fast-forward 62 years…
Not only will you find (if you do your own research) that the number of patents filed under “weather modification” are staggering, but you’ll also learn about Project Phoenix.
In 2009, a government-sponsored preparation exercise (i.e., “fictional drill”) was held to simulate the worst case scenario of a direct hit of a category 5 hurricane on Tampa Bay.
Organizers collaborated with WFLA-TV to create a 10-minute documentary-style video that combined simulated weather reports with archived footage from previous storms.
The simulation painted a grim picture of potential devastation, including:
Over 160 fatalities
30,000 people missing
Approximately 300,000 individuals seeking shelter
Up to $200 billion in building damage
Severe damage to Port Tampa Bay (then known as the Port of Tampa)
More than two-thirds of hospitals damaged
Closed bridges hampering rescue efforts
The region inundated with 48 million tons of debris
The follow-up “simulation” occurred just 4 years ago. Called Project Phoenix 2.0: The Recovery.
This Part 2 simulation, in 2020, painted another grim picture of potential devastation, including:
Extensive flooding and destruction
Long-term power outages
Impassable bridges and unusable airports
Significant economic impact, particularly on small businesses
A recovery period, potentially lasting a decade
Their “simulation” also took place in October, with the category 5 hurricane starting in the Gulf of Mexico.
What are the odds that this “simulation” mirrors the EXACT details of Milton right now??
Cat 5.
In October.
On course to hit Tampa.
Coming from the Gulf of Mexico.
You can’t make this stuff up…
And, as a questioning grizzly of the world, it’s also hard not to wonder, how much experimentation, driven by advanced technology, has occurred since 1947?
In mid-September, we were in the Panhandle of Florida, just leaving Jacksonville and heading toward Pensacola, FL, when Hurricane Francine was making its way past us.
Here are a few pics:
We left Nashville, September 25th, back to our quaint little town in southern Oregon… just in time to miss Helene’s wrath of the southeast, especially western North Carolina.
Which leads me to share this question, by a business acquaintance of mine:
Can someone logically explain how a hurricane makes landfall, crawls across 4 states, up mountain ranges maintaining or increasing in intensity, and creates the biggest natural disaster known to western North Carolina and east Tennessee?
Of course, he’s referring to Asheville, NC. The place has been devastated.
That town also, ironically enough, has been in “talks” to be a sustainable and resilient city.
The mockingbird media blames all this on climate change “events.” I beg to differ.
I’m sure it’s just another coincidence that practically every area that gets hits hard with weather warfare also is slated to be a “smart 15-min city.”
Maybe we should stop calling this "weather geoengineering" and start calling it what it probably really is: "weather weaponization"
What say you?

Barry, great article! There is not one aspect of government that has not been weaponized against its citizens. There is nothing left deserving of our trust. Great photos of your trip to the southeast. I'm envious of all the beach photos.
