We have no full answers to the extraction economy and truly how to balance the carbon being released and "green" energy is not a complete answer as the Landman clip represents quite eloquently. One clean energy advocate has come to believe we need more Nuclear power generation plants.
Soil regeneration, limiting and lessening plastic use, (all daily use containers in grocery stores etc. should be fully compostable) more regenerative agriculture practices, carbon sequestering and ultimately lessening consumption (good luck -unless the population truly decreases) perhaps nuclear fusion in 30 - 50 years. Searching for solutions will be an ongoing quest because we can't heat up our planet more and more and more and thrive.
I am all for nuclear energy coming back on the spotlight in America. Many countries in Europe have figured this out (namely France, Spain, Sweden), And they are a few light years ahead of us in that regard. π€
Given what we know abut how fossil fuels (coal) was created, and how the earthβs natural process is continuously creating gas, we may never run out.
