Do I write for you?
I won't satiate your unconscious desires for constant negative news (CNN); however, I will show you the darkness, then pull you back by the collar... and tell you, "Now go focus on yourself!"
The other day, a longtime M4 subscriber — a gentleman who only expects tangible investment ideas & actionable money research — managed to find my personal newsletter, Bear’s Bulletins (BB); yes, this one.
In other words…
He assumed that I, as co-founder of M4 Research (soon to be Rogue Money Research), would be sticking to a focus of… sifting through alternative investments, off-the-beaten path cash-flow programs, and unique money opportunities to endorse… to pass along.
It’s certainly a valid assumption.
After all, over at M4 (since 2009)… along with Brad, I am prefacing such research with commentary to inspire… movement and action-taking on the programs, resources and experts we know about and approve.
But, here at the Bear’s Bulletin (BB) camp… there’s a different spin on the whole idea of wealth, prosperity and factors that will help you to thrive; not just survive in this chaotic world.
My take is simple:
🌍 It’s not the world’s fault…
Affecting the way you are, the way you think, the way you learn, grow and develop (or don’t).
There’s a very popular newsletter, hosted on this Substack platform, which begs to differ. The editor feels it’s external factors that form your being; your results in life.
Well, let’s just say… I think that’s a big-ass cop-out. A convenient way to… NOT have to address the most uncomfortable, yet also most easy-to-fix, aspects of life and living.
🔔 What you should expect here are:
Insights and lessons — often via the school-of-hard-knocks — about mindset, life strategy and… how to sync your personal freedoms and pursuits into today’s top-down-managed cultural B.S.
Wake-up calls, flippant rants and unconventional ideas and actions plans that are decidedly asking you to stop going down limiting rabbit holes.
Also, if you’re paying attention, you may have noticed some of my posts are ultimately speaking to… the “still trying to find my place in the world” crowd. You may liken that demographic to someone younger, someone foolish, someone without purpose, etc.
However, at the end of the day, no matter what your age, I do believe we all need a spark of direction; a dose of “bad medicine” that may not taste so good on the way down, but will still cure the internal aliments.
That’s the TL;DR…
On who I am (mostly) writing for here.
Whether that’s you, a family member or colleagues who need my ramblings, rants and impassioned pep talks… I hope you’ll stick with me long enough to find out. ;)

You can read the letter below. It is the Intro to a forthcoming series — High-Yield Wealth - from the Inside-Out (updated for 2023) — that will be removed from
M4 InsiderRogue Money Insider and, instead, housed here within Bear’s Bulletins:
🔰 For years, I've had the privilege of orchestrating and conducting interviews and attending private calls with some of the wealthiest entrepreneurs in the world.
And, in tandem with my interest in asking some hard questions of these mentors and rainmakers, I've dived into some of the most extraordinary peak-performance books you could ever get your hands on.
I've heard and learned from guys and gals making over $100,000 per month and beyond! They're top-notch authors, value creators, and industry change-makers... people who live life to its fullest and command every waking minute with a constant "wealth vibe."
And, the cause — the automatic fuel — for having that "vibe" is something that Brad instinctively knew (back in 2010) we should be incorporating as essential education inside this private member area…
As people who have spent a lot of our own time studying human nature and being an active mentor to others (in the past, there was a lot of phone time helping break folks out of their own self-imposed restraints), members of our team have a thorough understanding of… what we'll just simply label the "psychology of money".
It's something we're passionate about as a company — and committed to... 'cause, without this effort, we know we'd be more and more susceptible to losing our edge or focus on accomplishing things and getting results.
The topic of mixing 'hard' wealth resources (i.e., the 'M4 Insider' Rogue Money Insider) and 'soft' commentary about self-improvement was tossed around several times before we officially launched in Dec 2009.
And, I'll be the one to admit here that I was dead set against it — mainly for three reasons:
#1) I felt that since we're making our membership's aim and purpose clear up front, we wouldn't be seeing too many members showing signs of 'getting in their own way'.
#2) "Wealth" (the tangible, money kind) STARTS with proper mindset, conscious awareness, and metaphysical conditioning; but, that activity — by itself — does not produce it.
#3) I didn't want the focus of the metaphysical (inner-world) side of the coin to overshadow the focus of the physical (outer-world) side of the coin.
Yet, as the years have passed and our operation has grown, we see people — more than we'd like — whining, majoring in minor stuff, and playing the blame game... the complete opposite of self-accountability.
And, the things that have been said to us via support tickets and emails — and, even in our mailbags — lead me to believe that Brad had a very good point many years ago:
"Smart people fail miserably when they don't focus on important (major) priorities and when they don't take responsibility for their own actions and effort. It's the most common form of self-sabotage!"
So, I caved in to the idea... but, with a twist.
There's actually more to that statement of Brad's:
"As we've said before, money — like energy - doesn't just all of a sudden disappear into thin air when the stock market, real estate market, or currency markets collapse; it simply transfers to someone else... it moves from the ill-informed to the well-informed. The herd lives in blissful ignorance of these facts."
The deeper revelation that should be taken from the above statement is: to be well-informed, you must FIRST be well aware!
Instantly usable, always-available, tangible money ideas and investment finds will continue to be the FOCUS (at RMI); however, some of that becomes meaningless (and, potential money pits)… without some raw, harder-core, tough-love lessons about the intangibles that turn average, everyday people into thriving, abundant, wealthy ones — and, vice versa.
When it comes to the part we play in our own evolution, our own prosperity level, and how much we really hold ourselves accountable for our own RESULTS (e.g., "Am I really getting and doing what I say I want to get and do?"), I am reminded of possibly the most powerful three words I've ever heard:
Behavior Doesn't Lie!
Via this High-Yield Wealth — From the Inside-Out Series, you'll be reading our thoughts and ideas (as well as those of some contributors) about how to transform your own behavior and thinking from… self-defeating and limiting… to life-enhancing.
This won't be your typical "love 'n light" mumbo-jumbo, lofty form of coaching, or teaching anything too far "out there."
We're all in complete agreement that in order to help those who are stuck — and assist them in being on the receiving side of wealth — we'll need to share and say things that aren't "feel-good" typical.
The gist is this:
Nothing drives us humans crazier — or makes us hate ourselves more — than to realize we've been keeping ourselves from gaining the wealth, success, and happiness we say we want in our lives.
And, a very good (but admittedly, unpopular) way for us to help you work with (not against) your own best interests is to take you places that may Ruffle Your Feathers a bit — critical-thinking and raw stories that may break apart your current view of reality and expand your perspectives.
Yes, the right paradigm shifts are certainly good for you. But, like all the best medicines, many don't taste very nice.
So, if you're going to read what we have here around the topics of metaphysics, manifestation, and wealth consciousness, you may have to bear holding your nose while taking in some very odorous views of conscious, self-accountable living.
In the 1990 Steven Spielberg movie, Joe Versus The Volcano, Patricia (the character played by Meg Ryan) utters these words to Joe Banks (Tom Hank's character):
"My father says that almost the whole world is asleep - everybody you know, everybody you see, everybody you talk to. He says that only a few people are awake, and they live in a state of constant, total amazement."
It's a powerful revelation. Patricia's father understood, like we do, that The Crowd is constantly searching for that 'one thing,' outside themselves, to skyrocket their life into a state of instant bliss and super success.
The truth, however, is that it takes a gradual unsheathing of societal memes, parental conditioning, and learned belief systems to awaken from a limited state of perception.
We're not claiming here that we've got everything figured out.
We don't!
But, we do have a few gold nuggets of wisdom — from our own experiences and those around us — which may very well spark a changed 'vibe' in you.
To NOT go through life asleep — you know, consciously rejecting our own unproductive behaviors and habits — requires that we humans dive into the unpalatable taste of more good medicine.
Those who strive to be 'comfortable' with themselves are usually moved to consume something sweet, easy, and valueless, like the latest new self-help "fluff" book or reality TV show.
Those who strive to experience life outside the box, adamant about having more meaningful and awakening experiences, will continue to take the good medicine, knowing that their mind viruses will eventually cure themselves… from the inside-out.
Remember: Nothing stalls human awareness and accomplishment more than the denial about their own accountability in the results they're getting.
