33rd degree Freemason explains how to manipulate Reality.
A codex to the ancient occult and esoteric traditions of the world.
Thereâs a small sector of my overall list who I call my âManifest Lifeâ groupies!
They are folks who, bless their ever-exploratory like-minded souls â have been reading my screeds since 2005, when I launched the website Manifest Life.
They (maybe that is you) consistently dive into the precepts and practices of ancient wisdom, esoteric teachings, and the mysteries that control individual and collective realities.
When it comes to conscious-creation, or the art of orchestrating our personal lives through unseen timeless principles, what is always baffling to me is this:
Most students of manifestation intellectually understand that the universe comprehends our thoughts and feelings through vibrational resonance, not literal words.
If they want to accelerate turning dreams into reality, thereâs no doubt in their minds that they need to pay attention to is⌠a host of peripheral streams of interconnected energies.
Why?
Well, thereâs a lot that can go into answering that. But, the TL;DR from metaphysicians who have studied this for ages is that the universe responds to the energetic resonance behind our thoughts⌠and reflects back the vibrational frequencies we emit.
YetâŚ
Students of manifestation still allow themselves to get hypnotized by their environment
They gravitate towards media sensationalism. They watch T.V. programming that is mind-numbing. Likewise, they pass along the latest political influencer interview clip online as if theyâre part of the âin crowdâ rumor mill (âHoly hell, Harry, did you hear what___ said to___!â).
In shortâŚ
Theyâre trying to keep-up with so, so, so much âchaotic contentâ that they can never get into a consistent enough state to consciously choose which thoughts to energize.
That is why I recently advised a few folks to Shut up and get back to work! No, itâs not the most âspiritualâ thing to say. But, damn, I feel the raw directive is sorely needed!â
In 1928, a relatively young man published a 650-page mega-book about the mysteries of life. It was acclaimed by Publishers Weekly as "a classic reference, dizzying in its breadth!â
Manly P. Hall, who was a prominent 33rd degree Freemason, which is the highest rank in Freemasonry, made a significant contribution to the field of esoteric knowledge, ancient mythology, and philosophy via The Secret Teachings of All Ages.
The book, without question, is an encyclopedia of knowledge; a tour de force exploration of the mysteries of human consciousness and spirituality.
If youâre analytically-inclined, you may find this tomb intriguing and worth your time. Certainly a 4.3 star rating, with over 5,700 reviewers on Goodreads, is nothing to sneeze at.
However, for the purpose of this post, Iâd like to point something very, very powerful out.
Something that, when combined with this reality-hack (understanding Feeling), can take co-creating your existence to the next level.
It is to remember one simple thing:
â ď¸ ATTENTION is the key.
Manly P. Hall goes into greater detail on this, via his book.
Here, though, Iâll give you my distilled version.
Our attention serves as a conduit through which we communicate our preferences to the universe, dictating the composition of our lives.
Our attention is not passive, but active in creating our existence.
By focusing on specific aspects of reality, we amplify them.
By withholding attention, we send a message of disinterest or opposition.
Look at it like thisâŚ
Just like a top-notch athlete could never truly BE "in the zone" without sustained mental energetics, you can't master deliberate attraction without focused attention.
But, it must be understood... to FOCUS in a state of expectancy on what you DO want.
I once saw a flyer, advertising a seminar at a local metaphysical organization, that said:
Attention is attraction. Focus is flow.
In my opinion, that basically means the more you visualize, imagine, and focus on your desires in a clear and relaxed way during the day, the more real they have the potential to become.
Martial arts masters in China refer to this type of continuous mental focus as "Breath of the Dragon."
There's a fine line, and mental touch, between doubt-free anticipation and detail-ridden anxiety. It's important to learn how to 'let go', not of what you want, but of how, when, or where it will come from.
If you let the details take center stage, your focus will be misdirected and actually slow down the length of time for your desire to come.
This isnât Magic!
Even though one of my first mentors once said that you can achieve magnitudes more in a few minutes through a state of deliberate thought than by hours of hard work, it's still not a something-for-nothing, sit-back-and turn-into-a-super-achiever-overnight plan.
Life isnât some linear story that you just have to hop on and ride out the script to oblivion. Rather, I see it as a rich game with lots of variable and possibilities. The more we uncover and understand these variables, the better equipped we become to play the game skillfully.
So, a Thank You â or a big bear hug â for being part of this world.
For allowing yourself, even, to take time to read what I have to say⌠when Iâm encouraging others to challenge ingrained beliefs and dive deeper into unexplored territories.

Are you familiar with Neville Goddard. His message is very similar.
Maybe I should just shut the fuck up. thegreattaking.com com could be a reality check for us all. I agree that we can be spooked by the latest CNNews etc (which I don't watch) but I actually believe that people should be aware that the shares etc that you own may not in reality be yours.
