Co-produced by @_BlakeHabyan & @WesternLensman (X accounts), there’s a somber video makings its rounds across the social-sphere.
(I took the liberty to attach the 1-min, 39-sec video to this bulletin)
The content reminds me of the ‘hell, fire and brimstone’ preaching of the pastors I had to put up with, as a teenager being forced to attend hardcore southern baptist churches, in Alabama, back in the 80s.
It doesn’t take a Ph.D. in psychology to observe how this video is edited to push alarmist or apocalyptic narratives around demographic shifts, border security, the surveillance state, rampant crime and unsafe cities, etc.
In the words of @SlopeofHope (Tim Knight):
“[It] will manage to address any optimism you have left.”
I don’t know about you… but, for me, I sometimes wonder about…
The human minds who adore pushing the obvious to its absolute extremes (i.e., yes, no shit, much of what is discussed in the video IS legit and 'cause for concern)… do they do it for a) attention or b) for thinking they’re actually helping the greater good?
I’ve talked about atrocity propaganda before. But, today, what I’d like to do is remind you of the debilitating aspects of falling for fearmongering or the “black washing” of the human spirit… and… those who miss the other side of it all, which is the natural inclination for most people in American (yes, including most politicians) to make sacrifices for their personal freedoms.
→ First up, some homespun wisdom from my grandfather, H.P. Goss (RIP):
→ Next on deck, Tucker Max (author of I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell) lays down one heck of an exposé on how he's performing lifestyle design tactics in the social and geopolitical environment we’re in.
Written in 2021, the wisdom here undoubtedly still applies today:
Doomer Optimism: What I See Coming, & How I’m Preparing
→ And lastly, to overcome the alarmists, there are a few reminders for you and anyone you know who is parroting this shit, like a mush-minded song bird:
Avoid cherry-picking data or presenting information out of context.
Balance emotional responses with rational analysis, taking time to process information before reacting.
Diversify your media consumption and seek out expert guidance, rather than relying solely on sensationalized sources.
Again, I’m not discounting the cultural & societal warnings signs presented in the video attached to this bulletin.
TL;DR: What, however, I am saying is… if you feel these warning signs ARE real… and… negatively affecting you, your family and lifestyle choices, then DO something about them… instead of mindlessly passing along, like a lemming on the loose, such melodramatized drivel on social media.
And/or click the little 🤍 Like icon on the bottom-left. It will help “spark” the Substack algorithm, and give others on the platform a greater chance to see, and scare themselves, with my grizzly ways. ;)
Until next time…

Living a Life Without Limits,
Read the Doomer Optimism article; watched the 25 ways our country is being destroyed. The video was too much for me and I already knew the content. But when its packed in under two minutes its overwhelming.
I won't be leaving where I'm living and that will be the case for so many who see whats coming. Even the prepping within my ability has many weak links that will likely fail.
That's just how it is.
