Friday FYIs: 3 things worth knowing
Opportunity Alert (this Sunday); what you do; two kick-ass documentaries
I don’t think I’ll be making these short FYIs a habit… unless I have a boat load of my fans requesting them.
So, for today… enjoy while you can. ;)

Opportunity Alert #1: This Sunday
No more waffling, no more tip-toeing around this. With some nudges from a few colleagues in the space, I will be presenting a unique and easy way to MAKE a sizeable amount of monthly cashflow, by simply giving your professional and/or personal connections a space to share their interests and passions with each other, while helping them to create a sense of belonging and camaraderie.
Don’t sneeze at what you’ll be seeing from me, on February 11th at Noon PST. I won’t delay it. Watch out for the email on Sunday. I will be venturing into this with you, as I also attempt to use a no-brainer new “system” to turn one-way emails / DMs into a two-way online village; a movement of sorts which will turn one of my coming projects into a self-replicating mission.
I’ll be giving you all the resources and get-there-quicker insights that I, too, will utilize. And you don’t need a large following to do this. Stay tuned.

The Things You Do
When I asked, a few weeks ago, what you guys do to keep the lights on, or the side-hustles and pursuits you have for extra income and cash-flow, the responses were quite revealing.
I am honored to have such a diverse, ambitious and hard-working community.
Grit > Luck! (on a T-shirt I saw the other day).
Firefighter (3): One, rightfully, knows he deserves a better life somewhere besides Chicago. Amen. Freezing cold. It, like many big cities, is eating itself from the inside out.
Investors, full-time (10): From property management / rentals… to private lending… to dividend stocks… to trading options on the $SPY… to automated Forex (several via Brad's PAMM (your money <> your control)... I appear to have a sharp crew of risk-taking cubs. Well, full-on adult like-minded grizzlies. ;)
"Very little is obvious in the research on human decision-making and happiness. Very few things are proven. One thing that is proven is this: the only regrets octogenarians have are for the risks not taken” – Andy Dunn
Medical Device field (2): This encompasses a broad range of talents, but most titles here are in engineering, quality control and sales. One gentleman, in Georgia, has been doing this for 40 years. I dig commitment!
Retired Veterans (5): One is a fellow U.S. Navy veteran who is working in the travel nursing field.
Cybersecurity (1): Stewart is also an admitted struggling day trader and land investor.
Affiliate Marketing (12): The OG online side-hustle, which keeps you getting paid for sharing quality-stuff. I applaud the folks doing this. Especially those who have mastered cold-traffic advertising.
Police Officer (1): Well, that's all I got, just that he's a police officer. Guess he was chasing down a perpetrator while answering my survey. ;) Blue Lives Matter!
Mobile Disk Jockey (1): Same, just a listed title on the form.
Amazon Influencer (2): This took me by surprise. Not only that there were two responses with that title; but one, Rebecca, says she has made money every day, since March 2023, except for Christmas Day.
Restaurant Manager (3): It takes immense people skills, and a natural passion for human nature, to do this. Hat tip to the three of you.
Another gracious fist-bump to everyone who answered this question. If you didn’t participate yet… you can still answer, if you wish.

Two Inspiring Netflix Documentaries
As mentioned via Q&A #7, I’m sorta, kinda… well yeah… absolutely a documentary enthusiast. I enjoy a solid doc like a chocolate chip mint gelato. They’re both crack for the head.
So, Netflix has always been well-known for award-winning docs. These two are in the top of their class:
Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond (2017) 01:34:00
If you're a Jim Carrey fan, as I am, then you'll absolutely be amazed at this behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the 1999 movie, Man on the Moon.
The Greatest Night in Pop (2024) 01:37:00
Wow. Finally. The inside scoop on how two music industry icons started a movement that brought together, in 1985, 40+ singers — each with a stardom and ego of their own — to make the iconic group song, We Are the World.
