A Letter From Your Future Self
Looking in the mirror, to motivate yourself, is what will help you decid that what you want most... is... more important than what you want at the moment.
Hi.
I’m your future self. It’s a year later - December 2019.
I want to tell you what happened in the last 12 months.
A year ago, in December 2018, you said: “Today is the day I change my life.”
You also said:
The quality of my life is my responsibility.
I am done with toxic people.
I am done with procrastination.
I am ready to be my best self.
And some amazing things happened.
You see, back in December 2018, you realized that you have a circle of control. When you focus all of your energy on that circle, you do incredible things. You exceed everyone’s expectations. You make it look easy. And you’re happier.
Everything inside the dark circle, you control.
• Your reactions
• Your emotions
• Your work ethic
• Your desires
Everything outside the circle, you don’t control.
• The weather
• Other people
• Acts of God
• Mean people
• The economy
And a year ago, you made a decision to focus on that inner circle.
You became like a magnifying glass, focusing the rays of the sun onto your goals.
You took all the surrounding light, and you focused it.
And you caught fire. ?
You see, success comes down to one thing: your desires.
Whatever you want most, you think about.
Whatever you think about most, you do.
Whatever you do determines your results.
And a year ago, you realized, you have complete control over your desires.
So you made a decision.
You decided:
1. You want to be in way better financial shape in 12 months.
2. You want to be healthier in 12 months.
3. You want to have better relationships in 12 months.
You decided you wanted those things more than anything else.
And here’s what’s crazy.
