I’m just coming off a successful 5-day win-streak, scalping Oil and the US30 index upon the market open.
Yes, getting up at 6:15am (Pacific, USA Time) can be a b*tch for this typical night owl Bear; however, I’m now committed to only ‘trading the open’ as it is so much easier for me to gauge price action… when… well… most professional traders are also up and active. Go figure.
[[ Oh, btw, yes… I ab-so-lute-ly DO manually trade in addition to having Brad’s automated BOT trade another account for me. Best of both worlds ]]
All that is a segue, I suppose, into the video links below — a quick rundown of stuff on my TO WATCH list, this weekend.
→ The $5.7 Trillion/year Oil Market — and How People Trade It (8:18)
I, personally, don’t need to watch this… as I already know how to trade Oil CFDs. And I know why, from a financial and leverage standpoint, it’s the best current vehicle of choice, for me. However, I will still watch this to see if it’s a good enough ‘Oil Market’ overview to pass onto friends and family who keep asking, “Bear, why do you like trading oil?”
→ Black Bird (2022)
This 6-part true crime / drama series was recommended by a local friend. He said that it captivated his attention and that the performance by Taron Egerton is outstanding. The IMBD rating is 8.1/10 and the trailer looks incredible. Taron plays Jimmy Keene, who was sentenced to 10 years in a minimum security prison, but he cuts a deal with the FBI to befriend a suspected serial killer, Larry Hall, played by Paul Walter Hauser.
→ The Big Empty (27:51)
A Bitcoin story in the heartland of Texas. This short documentary tells the story of Spur, Texas and its relationship with its newest neighbors, an 800 megawatt Bitcoin mine dubbed 'Helios.'
[[ Sidenote: Speaking of Bitcoin, if you haven’t combed through my BTC-related bulletins, they are curated here… ]]
Well, there you go. Three links I’ll be tapping into this weekend.
If you have your own recommendations, feel free to….
Until next time…
